It has taken a very long time, a lot of headlines, and more than a little chaos to get here, but Euphoria is finally back on the calendar. For a while, Season 3 started to feel less like a TV release and more like an urban legend. That is no longer the case. The official logline says the new season follows a group of childhood friends wrestling with “the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil,” which is an extremely Euphoria way of saying things are probably about to get even messier and more intense.
HBO has officially confirmed that Season 3 debuts on April 12, 2026. The new season will run for eight episodes, with new installments airing weekly on Sundays. The returning cast includes Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, and the late Eric Dane. HBO has also previously indicated that Colman Domingo returns as a guest star.
Created, written, directed, and executive produced by Sam Levinson, the show remains one of HBO’s biggest youth-culture flashpoints, for better and for worse. It is controversial, over-discussed, and still one of the network’s most recognizable brands.

Is ‘Euphoria’ Worth Watching?
Collider’s review stated that Euphoria Season 1 is a brutally honest coming-of-age drama that pushes the teen genre into far darker and more provocative territory than most television has ever attempted. While the show’s aggressive style and shocking early episodes may be overwhelming at first, the HBO series ultimately reveals itself to be a layered and emotionally complex exploration of adolescence in the modern world.
“Levinson began Assassination Nation with a massive list of trigger warnings. Likewise, Zendaya reached out to her massive social media following ahead of Euphoria’s premiere with some trigger warnings of her own. That’s probably not a bad idea. It’s a rough show that intends to slap the audience around a little along with its characters. I suspect that’s part of the point, though I can’t say Euphoria has necessarily earned its indulgences in the first four episodes, it certainly makes the most of them.”
Euphoria Season 3 debuts on April 12, 2026.
