The Vivo X300 Ultra is right around the corner, and following some official confirmations, the first official camera samples are now here as well. These images come from Han Bo Xiao, a Vivo executive, who shared them on Weibo.
First Vivo X300 Ultra camera samples are here, five of them
There are five camera samples here in total. Two of the images are from the phone’s main camera, and three are with the telephoto converter that Vivo presented at MWC 2026.
Let’s start with the shots from the phone’s main camera. In the gallery below, you’ll see those two images, which have a 35mm focal length. One is showing an elephant in nature, while the other is focused on nature alone.
Both of those images look great. There is plenty of detail in them, the colors are vivid, and the dynamic range is excellent. You can basically see the ZEISS style in the image. Many people love the pictures that Vivo phones provide for a reason. As a reminder, the Sony LYT-901 camera is used for the main camera on this phone.
Both 200mm and 400mm camera samples are here
Let’s follow that up with the three remaining images, the ones taken with the telephoto converter. One is at a 200mm focal length equivalent, while the remaining two have been taken at a 400mm focal length equivalent.
These images look outstanding as well. The details on the elephants and the eagle, which are the subjects here, are great. The 400mm images allowed the photographer to take close-ups of these animals without actually getting close to them.
Do note that the telephoto converter that Vivo presented will be sold separately. The Vivo X300 Ultra will, however, launch globally, unlike its predecessor, so those are great news.
The phone will have outstanding camera hardware
In addition to the Sony LYT-901 main camera, which is Sony’s new flagship camera sensor and its first 200MP camera for phones, the device will also have three additional cameras. A 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (Samsung ISOCELL HP0 sensor) will be included, along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony LYT-818 sensor) and a 5-megapixel multispectral sensor.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is tipped to launch on March 30, though Vivo still hasn’t officially confirmed it. It could launch in China before arriving to global markets.
