Pink and her daughter Willow Hart just had the coolest mother-daughter date night. The singer and her 14-year-old made a rare joint appearance on March 12, appearing at “The Music of Billy Joel” concert at New York City’s Carnegie Hall.
The pair wore formal looks for the outing, with Pink dressed in a slinky black gown with a halter neckline. Her daughter, meanwhile, wore a strapless gown made of bright red satin.
The two sat with Joel himself during the concert and later took a photo with the musician backstage. The evening was a tribute to Joel and his expansive career, featuring performances by Natalie Merchant, Rob Thomas, and more.

Pink is a long-time fan of Joel and even walked down the aisle to his song “She’s Always a Woman” when she married Willow’s father Carey Hart in 2006. In 2014, she joined Joel on stage for the SiriusXM Town Hall and told him that he “changed [her] life.” Pink said: “You were like a God that I prayed to as a child. It’s shaped and painted my whole life.” The pair went on to become friends and have performed together on several other occasions.

Pink and Willow, as well as her husband Carey Hart and son Jameson, recently relocated to New York City from Los Angeles. The move was mainly to help Willow pursue her dream of acting on Broadway, the singer explained while guest hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show. “We actually moved here because I am an amazing mom,” she said. “And also so Willow could study theater and experience more Broadway.”
