Olympic champion Cole Hocker, combined events star Anna Hall and two-time world shot put champion Chase Jackson headline a strong US team for the World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26 on 20-22 March.
Hocker, the Olympic champion over 1500m and world champion over 5000m, will be looking to secure another global title over a different distance as he contests the 3000m.
World heptathlon champion Hall owns the two highest pentathlon scores in US history and will be looking to make an impact in her first appearance at the World Indoor Championships. World bronze medallists Kyle Garland and Taliyah Brooks will also contest the combined events in Kujawy Pomorze.
Jackson, who recently set an indoor shot put PB of 20.44m, will be seeking her first world indoor title after reaching the podium at the past three editions.
The US will also be strongly represented in the jumps by double Olympic medallist Jasmine Moore, who will contest both the long jump and triple jump.
Rising talent Cooper Lutkenhaus will contest the men’s 800m, following his world U20 short track record of 1:44.03.
In the men’s 1500m, Luke Houser returns to the global stage after earning bronze at the previous World Indoor Championships.
