The Holy and Sacred Synod of the Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, presided over by His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III of Jerusalem, at its session held on Thursday, 27 February / 12 March 2026, resolved as follows:
The dispatch of Hierodeacon Patrick, who serves in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, to study Theology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
The appointment of Hierodeacon Gerasimos from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to serve at the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
The admission of Mr Konstantinos Rousochatzakis, teacher at the Patriarchal School of Zion, into the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood through monastic tonsure, and subsequently through ordination to the diaconate.
