Live from Radio 1’s Longest Ride
The weather’s picked up again, it’s very very very windy in my face. And that bike is long, so there’s lot’s more for the wind to hit. You can’t quite trust the downhill because if the road is a bit uneven or it’s bumpy I’m concentrating on that and the wind can suddenly take the back wheels.
The thing I didn’t think about was the concentration it takes to do the actual cycling because I don’t want to fall off, and I’m hurtling down these hills because I want to get there as quickly as possible…
I just really, really need people to donate for this stupid thing, please. I’d love to wake up tomorrow, aching, with my knees screaming, to a nice big total.
