Annie Crofton, on behalf of Sensi Treatment, applied to change the use of an office at Ketteringham Hall – about eight miles from the city – into a healthcare centre.

The application was retrospective since the company, which provides a range of diagnoses, assessments and treatments for people with sensory processing difficulties like ADHD and autism, moved into the property in October 2024.

Planners for South Broadland Council gave the application their thumbs up, saying: “Given the nature of the development, which is proposed for a retrospective healthcare use, and its location within an existing business centre complex, the application is considered acceptable.”

Ketteringham Hall was built in the 15th century.

It was a Tudor manor before being used by US air force personnel, who were stationed at nearby RAF Hethel during the Second World War.

It later became a school.

In 1970, the site was bought by the Chapman family, who founded Lotus, and since then the estate has been used for office and business space.
