For almost four years, the UK Space Agency has been updating its list of websites that can help those looking to move into the space industry in Britain. The list was just updated on 17th March, and it’s a useful set of resources, no matter whether you’re just moving in to the work world or are coming from another industry. There are lesson plans and other teaching materials as well.

Here are some highlights:

Space Careers UK offers a dedicated area for those new to the space sector. It gives an overview of the space sector and space careers, as well as guidance on finding roles.

Explore Springpod’s online Airbus Aerospace programme, which gives students aged 13+ the opportunity to hear from Airbus representatives about their company, its aims and values and what it’s like to work in aerospace.

STEM Learning Research Placements and Experiences

Funded by the Nuffield Foundation, STEM.org offers research placements and experiences for students in Year 12 (or equivalent).
