(NewsNation) — Olivia Rodrigo is clearing up rumors about where she stands with Sabrina Carpenter.
The “vampire” singer has all love for Carpenter, following years of rumored tension between the two.
“I think she’s great,” Rodrigo told British Vogue in an interview published Thursday. “I’m so happy for all of her success, too. I love the album she’s put out.”

Rodrigo’s comments come years after rumors she, Carpenter and fellow Disney star Joshua Bassett were in a love triangle.
“It’s just people just get weird and clickbaity,” Rodrigo said. “It’s all love, though. I’ve talked to her many times.”
After Rodrigo dropped her debut single “driver’s license” in 2021, speculation arose when fans thought that some of the lyrics of the song referred to the “Manchild” singer, who was rumored to be dating Bassett at the time.
“And you’re probably with that blonde girl / Who always made me doubt / She’s so much older than me / She’s everything I’m insecure about,” Rodrigo sang.
Carpenter is blonde.

“Sometimes I meet a 17 or an 18-year-old nowadays, and I’m like, ‘Wow, you are such a baby,’” she told British Vogue, “I can’t believe people were that mean to me.”
Rodrigo is 23.
