Key features of this ABS Kaze II Ruby gaming PC

RTX 5070 Ti graphics card

The RTX 5070 Ti is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p and a decent option for 4K, too, if you’re not looking to spend RTX 5080 money. It has 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM and is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which boasts far more efficient architecture, improved 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and powerful 5th-gen tensor cores. It’s a card that’s great for top-tier 1440p gaming at high fps and max settings, and it’s also a quality pick for creatives working in applications like Adobe Premiere Pro and Blender. It has enough raw power with its CUDA core count and VRAM to handle very demanding tasks and workloads, but can also leverage its AI capabilities for faster rendering times and exporting times, too. Overall, it’s a versatile and excellent graphics card to go for, and with most prebuilds hovering around $2,200, it’s actually quite good value for money, too.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

This is one of the best CPUs for gaming on the market right now, and it’s one of the most popular to pair with higher-end graphics cards, like the RTX 5070 Ti. The big selling point here is its massive L3 cache, made possible by its unique 3D V-cache architecture. It’s designed to store much more data for faster access, and comes in at 96MB, which, when combined with its boost clock speed of 5.2GHz, makes for a CPU that can allow for very high and stable fps with low frame latency. This version also has better thermals, making for even more stable performance under heavy and sustained loads. On the multitasking front, it has 8 cores and 16 threads, which makes it pretty capable when it comes to streaming, running background applications, and more. It’s also not a bad option for popular creative applications, too, but it’s very much a gaming-first CPU. Check out our full review for benchmarks and more details.

Storage and RAM

You’ve got a 2TB SSD, which is great if you’re looking to store a fair few games on this rig alongside other files, like 4K footage and large PSDs, for instance. It also has 32Gb of DDR5, which is the sweet spot for a card like this, with the benefits being most noticeable when playing open-world games, running multiple demanding applications, making edits to huge, multi-layered files, and rendering times.

Things to consider

As I always quack on about, at this price point, you’re painfully close to some of the Intel 7-265K, RTX 5080 builds, which are often found just under $2,500 or $2,600 from my experience. These are going to be superior for 4K gaming with ray tracing, but the processor is designed more for those who are professional creatives and heavy productivity first, who also like to game, which is the reverse of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, for example. If your budget is bang on $2,500, I’d say it’s worth checking out some of the Skytech, Stormfront, and Andromeda Insights RTX 5080 builds, as I do tend to find these to be more affordable on the whole.
