The 46-year-old recently underwent a facelift procedure, and the recovery is no walk in the park. “When it’s day 6 of your recovery you have cabin fever, watched every 2000’s movie, can barely walk w/o being winded, live in a recliner, feel like you’re being choked from ear to ear and everyone keeps telling you day 7 is the best day but that’s tomorrow and you have lost all faith in humanity,” she wrote over a video on Instagram. She then captioned the post, “I kno [sic], I did this to myself but damn.”
Fans rushed to the comment section to share their support. “You already look amazing. It’s almost over. Can’t wait to see the final reveal,” one person wrote. Another commented, “It will be worth it hang in there.”

Bunnie, who’s been married to Grammy-winner Jelly Roll since 2016, initially told fans about her scheduled surgery on the March 13 episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast. “I’ll be getting my facelift on Sunday the 15th, so send lots of prayers for your girl,” she told listeners at the time.
The memoirist was aware that facelift recovery can be brutal, as she told her fans, “I’m gonna look crazy, guys. I’m gonna be bruised. It’s gonna be a little weird. Don’t freak out. My doctor’s really good, so everything’s gonna go great.”

Bunnie has continued to post content consistently after her facelift, showing fans what recovery actually looks like. In one video, she attempts to eat sushi while struggling to open her mouth wide enough. In a photo, she shows off her bruises after getting her stitches out.
