Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will reportedly not be in attendance at the royal family’s upcoming Easter church service, and there may be a specific reason why.
According to a Tuesday, March 31, report in journalist Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, Prince William is “tightening the circle,” a royal source claimed. “And this is what that looks like.”
“This wasn’t optional,” the source added. “It was decided for them.”
Reports that Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, won’t be at the royal family Easter outing come amid their father Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s fall from grace due to his longtime connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Though the former Prince Andrew has consistently denied wrongdoing and maintained his innocence regarding his ties to Epstein, he was accused of sharing confidential information with the financier related to his role as a trade envoy. The ex Duke of York was arrested last month on his 66th birthday.

Following the news that Beatrice and Eugenie won’t be seen with King Charles III and company this upcoming Sunday, a source told Shuter that the Prince of Wales, 43, is “thinking about the future, not feelings.”
“It’s about protecting the brand,” the insider added. “There’s history there the palace can’t ignore. Even if no one wants to say it out loud.”
And while it’s believed that Beatrice and Eugenie will eventually be back in the royal fold, a source told Shuter, “These things don’t just happen once. Once you’re out, it’s easier to stay out.”
“Charles may still be king,” the source said, “but William is making the decisions that matter. This wasn’t about Easter. It was about control.”
Following Andrew’s arrest, the 77-year-old king — who previously stripped his brother of his royal titles and honors late last year — said via a statement issued from Buckingham Palace that authorities have the royal family’s “full and wholehearted support and co-operation” throughout an investigation.
In recent months, Andrew vacated Royal Lodge and moved to Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. His ex-wife, Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, was also forced out of Royal Lodge, but her current whereabouts are unknown as she weighs her options for the future.
