The property’s operations generate zero carbon emissions thanks to an investment in a hot water boiler retrofit, eliminating 880 cubic meters of daily natural gas consumption and generating RMB 1.4 million (approximately $200,000 USD) in annualized cost savings. The resort’s “Xi Ai Home” initiative empowers more than 120 local community members with disabilities, supporting over RMB 200,000 (nearly $30,000) in handicraft sales. The property is one of the only hotels in Hilton’s portfolio which meets its entire water demand by sourcing from a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant while using reclaimed water for all landscape irrigation.
