The historic daily rainfall record for September has been broken after more than 100 mm of rain fell in an hour and a half in the Nahariya area. Dr. Amir Givati, director of the Meteorological Service, reported this update, adding that the previous historic record for daily rainfall in September stood at 95.7 mm, measured on September 12, 1932, in the Gush Etzion area.
