The Free-For-All Book Fair will return for the third consecutive year in December, offering attendees a chance to browse through thousands of donated books for adults, teens, kids and babies — for free.

In 2024, around 1,500 fair attendees took home over 7,000 English and Spanish books, according to a Wednesday release from the Free-For-All Book Fair.

This year’s volunteer-run event will be from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Glenwood Springs Community Center.

The Free-For-All Book Fair will be accepting donations of gently-used books through the month of October for this year’s annual event. Newer adult non-fiction and fiction, teen and young adult books and children’s books in English and Spanish are needed. Donations of reference books, school textbooks, extremely old books, damaged or torn books, encyclopedias and used journals and workbooks will not be accepted.

Monetary donations for the purchase of new books are also appreciated. Email FreeForAllBookFair@gmail.com for more information about donating or volunteering.
