Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) said Tuesday that more than seven US-Israeli airstrikes targeted its positions in Anbar province, causing material damage but no casualties.

A statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency said the strikes targeted positions belonging to the PMF’s Anbar Operations Command and the 13th Al-Tufuf Brigade.

It said the attacks hit communications sections, military vehicles and several transport units.

Regional escalations have continued to rage since Israel and the US launched an offensive against Iran on Feb. 28, killing more than 1,340 people to date, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure while disrupting global markets and aviation.
