On Tuesday evening, the Boston Celtics played the Charlotte Hornets (at home).

The Celtics won by a score of 113-102.

Jaylen Brown finished with 35 points, nine rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 13/29 from the field and 3/10 from three-point range in 43 minutes of playing time.

In addition to his big night, Brown also made Celtics history.

Brown is having a remarkable season.

The former Cal star had come into the night with averages of 28.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.6% from the field and 34.5% from three-point range in 69 games.

Celtics After Hornets Win

The Celtics improved to 54-25 in 79 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak (and have gone 8-2 over their last ten).

At home, the Celtics are 28-11 in 39 games at TD Garden.

Following the Hornets, they will play their next game on Thursday night when they visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

The Celtics are looking good heading into the 2026 NBA playoffs.

If they can remain healthy, there is an excellent chance that they could return to the NBA Finals for the second time in three years.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Jaylen Brown in games with Jayson Tatum this season:

Brown has been assisted by Tatum more than any Celtic since JT’s return.”

Hornets After Celtics Loss

Despite their loss to the Celtics, the Hornets have been playing well as of late.

They are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 43-37 record in 80 games.

Over their last ten games, the Hornets have gone 7-3.

The Hornets are looking to make the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2016 season.
