Some adults act just like kids, and we mean that in the best way possible. The Taronga Zoo in Mosman, Australia, shared a video of one of their giraffes, Zarafa, making the most of being stuck inside during a rainstorm, and she ends up doing something just about every kid has done at one point or another.
Instead of just watching the rain fall, like the giraffe she’s standing next to, Zarafa decided to have some fun with it by sticking out her tongue to catch the raindrops, just like a kid. The look she makes while doing it will totally make you smile!
Taronga Zoo shared a quick joke and a fun fact in the video’s caption. “When Zarafa knows it’s time to bring the washing in!
But in all seriousness, while our giraffes prefer to keep warm and dry in their barn, they do have clever adaptations—like a network of blood vessels beneath their coat that helps with thermoregulation.”
