Leah Smith (right) is the owner of Harrogate-based brownie business Heavenly Bites GF.

A young Harrogate entrepreneur has relaunched her gluten-free baking business, aiming to fill a growing gap in the market.

Leah Smith, 21, is behind Heavenly Bites GF, a brownie company offering products that are 100 per cent coeliac-safe, with a focus on eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.

After returning to the business with renewed focus, Leah says the goal is to make indulgent treats more accessible to those with dietary restrictions – particularly people living with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance.

She told Your Harrogate:

“There is currently such a need for people to be able to enjoy a sweet treat even when they have an allergy present.

“We are passionate about delivering high-quality, perfectly crafted brownies that everyone can enjoy with confidence.”

Operating from a converted horse box, Heavenly Bites GF will be appearing at a number of local events, including Otley Show and Ripley Show, as well as various markets across the region.

Leah said:

“We are incredibly excited to share our brownies with you and cannot wait for you to experience Heavenly Bites.”
