A board-certified critical care physician, medical educator, and clinical research expert with more than 2 decades of frontline healthcare experience, he now works at the intersection of medicine and technology, helping fellow clinicians navigate and adopt artificial intelligence (AI) in practical, safe, and meaningful ways.
Dr. Bencheqroun is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, Riverside; senior medical director at IQVIA; and associate director of Tele-ICU. He is also the founder of Medical Ai Academy, an educational platform focused on closing the AI literacy gap for healthcare professionals, and hosts The AI-Ready Doctor podcast.
