Yisrael Beiteinu party chairman Avigdor Liberman said in response to the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon that “it is impossible to let residents live from round to round. This reality is simply unbearable!” He added: “The October 7 government learned nothing. Once again allowing Hezbollah time to recover and strengthen. We must not end the war without a clear decision and the elimination of Hezbollah. Otherwise, the next round is only a matter of time, at a heavier price and under much worse conditions. In the next government, I will ensure the security of the residents of the north!”
