The IDF announced that Amer Hujairat, a Defense Ministry employee working for an engineering company on behalf of the Defense Ministry, was killed by a drone in southern Lebanon on Tuesday. Hujairat was 44 years old and lived in Shfaram.
Hujairat’s 19-year-old son, who was working with him, was lightly injured in the incident and evacuated to Ziv Hospital in Safed.
The two were working on the destruction of buildings in villages in southern Lebanon on behalf of a private company. They were inside a bulldozer when a drone hit it and exploded.

Additionally, against the backdrop of increasing tension on the northern border, the IDF announced that Home Front Command guidelines will remain unchanged until Thursday at 8 P.M.
According to the guidelines announced earlier this week, gatherings in confrontation line communities on the northern border and in communities in the Meron area are permitted up to 1,500 people.

On Monday, an Israeli soldier was seriously wounded and another lightly wounded in a drone attack in southern Lebanon on Monday, the Israeli military said.
The soldiers were transported to hospital for medical treatment, the statement said.
