‘Middle East on the verge of explosion’

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty said at the UN General Assembly that “the Middle East is on the verge of explosion. We are looking at the reality in the Middle East with concern and responsibility.” According to him, “The credibility of the international system is eroding due to violations of international law, especially in the Middle East. Israel is waging a cruel war against civilians in Gaza.” Abdel Atty added: “We express our willingness to support Trump’s vision for restoring stability, ending the war and releasing the hostages and prisoners.”
