■ A senior Iranian commander said hostilities between the United States and Iran are “likely” to resume, France’s AFP news agency reported, citing Iran’s Fars news agency.
■ A senior Iranian official told Reuters the Iranian truce proposal submitted to Pakistan Thursday called for reopening the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for lifting the U.S. blockade of Iran.
■ Marshall Islands-flagged tanker Sarv Shakti, loaded with 46,313 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas for India, crossed the Strait of Hormuz, India’s shipping ministry said.
