My Hero Academia has officially come to an end with its final episode, “More.” This 24-minute special gives the Class 1-A a well-deserved closure to their decade-long journey, with the main highlight being the emotional moment between Izuku and Ochaco, as the two heroes finally open up about their hidden feelings for each other.
While many fans were hoping for some new, anime-only scenes to expand the ending, the episode remains quite faithful to the final manga chapter by giving a 1:1 adaptation. The only major disappointment among viewers comes from a certain character’s new design, which looks quite odd compared to the rest of the cast.

While most of Class 1-A retained their familiar looks in My Hero Academia’s finale, Shoto Todoroki’s updated design caught many viewers by surprise. While creator Kohei Horikoshi did give Shoto a similar jawline in the last chapter, Studio Bones pushed this detail even further in the anime, making the hero look almost like an entirely new character.
