WASHINGTON (TNND) — Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt on Monday released a viral “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” ad following a news report that he lived there.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was a popular show in the ’90s that starred Will Smith as the main character.
In the ad which has 3.7 million views on X, Pratt sings to the tune of the popular theme song of the show, but changes the lyrics.
“Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down,” the video’s caption on X reads.
The videos shows Spencer Pratt in front of his trailer and shots of it being hauled to Bel-Air by a truck.
“In west Los Angeles Palisades in my backyard is where I spent most of my days feeding hummingbirds, relaxing all cool [and] avoiding all the bums outside of the school,” he sang. “When a couple politicians who were up to good started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fire and my mom got scared and said, ‘You’re moving in with Harvey Levin in Bel Air.’”
Pratt lost his house in the Palisades fire a year ago and said it was the main reason he was running for mayor because of failed leadership like current Mayor Karen Bass.
On Monday, a reporter put out a story that said Spencer Pratt lived in Santa Barbara.

“My house burned down,” he said in response to the report. “I lost everything. I can’t rebuild. As a 42 year old man with 2 kids, I’ve had to move into my parents’ house, and I’m getting attacked for that? This is journalism? This is why no decent people ever get into politics. This is why you only have goblins running everything. God help you if you try to make things right for your communityif you lose your entire town, “journalists” mock you for not making your kids sleep in the toxic dirt on your burned out lot.
