U.S. President Donald Trump said during a press conference that he’s in “no hurry” about the possibility of attacking Iran, adding that the U.S. will “give this one shot.”
“We’d have to open the Strait; that would open immediately. We’re gonna give this one shot. I’m in no hurry. Ideally, I’d like to see few people killed, as opposed to a lot. We could do it either way, but I’d like to see few people killed,” he said.
Trump on Iran: “I’m in no hurry. Everyone is saying, ‘Oh, the midterms.’ I’m in no hurry.”
Trump also said Netanyahu will “do whatever I want him to do. He’s a very good man,” when asked about their relationship.
“Don’t forget he’s a wartime prime minister, and he’s not treated right in Israel, in my opinion… They have a president over there who treats him very poorly,” he added.
Trump, asked whether they were on the same page regarding Iran, responded, “Yeah.”

Trump also said, jokingly, that he could run for office in Israel after he concludes his current term since he’s so liked there.
“Maybe after I do this I’ll go to Israel and run for prime minister. I had a poll this morning, I’m 99 percent.”
