NAD Electronics announced support for Dirac Live Bass Control for select BluOS-enabled amplifiers, bringing advanced low-frequency optimization and intelligent subwoofer integration to users for the first time. Adding to the Dirac Live Room Correction tools already available, the NAD M33 V2, M10 V3, and C 658 will all support Dirac Live Bass Control for advanced low-frequency optimization and intelligent subwoofer integration.

NAD Electronics announced support for Dirac Live Bass Control for select BluOS-enabled amplifiers, bringing advanced low-frequency optimization and intelligent subwoofer integration to users for the first time. Adding to the Dirac Live Room Correction tools already available, the NAD M33 V2, M10 V3, and C 658 will all support Dirac Live Bass Control for advanced low-frequency optimization and intelligent subwoofer integration.
 


Available beginning May 19, 2026, with BluOS version 4.16.6, Dirac Live Bass Control will be supported on NAD’s newest generation of premium streaming amplifiers, including the NAD M33 V2, NAD M10 V3, and NAD C 658 BluOS Streaming DAC. Support for Dirac Live Bass Control also extends to previous generations of the M33 and M10. 

By intelligently optimizing speakers, subwoofers, and room acoustics together, Dirac Live Bass Control delivers tighter, smoother, and more accurate bass performance throughout the listening environment. The enhanced integration between speakers and subwoofers is now directly integrated, and the results of this intelligent optimization are also effective for single or multiple subwoofers and consistent throughout the listening room.

Dirac Live Bass Control is an advanced room optimization solution that works alongside Dirac Live Room Correction to analyze both frequency and timing behavior. Powered by advanced AI and machine learning, the technology intelligently calibrates one or multiple subwoofers to improve bass integration, phase alignment, transient response, and seat-to-seat consistency.

Dirac Live Bass Control is supported on the NAD M10, M10 V2, M10 V3, M33, M33 V2, and C 658. Dirac Live Bass Control requires both BluOS version 4.16.6 (or higher) and a Dirac Live Bass Control license (sold separately).
