BRIT winner Raye was surprised with her world record certificates following the last in a string of sell-out shows at The O2, London.
After entertaining her adoring crowd, the “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” hitmaker was met backstage by Guinness World Records Adjudicator Emma Salt, who offered the perfect end to her night.
Not only does Raye have the most BRIT award nominations in a single year with seven nods in 2024, but she also holds the record for most BRIT awards won in a single year after taking home six of the gongs.
The UK singer – real name Rachel Keen – won Album of the Year for My 21st Century Blues, Song of the Year for “Escapism” feat. 070 Shake, Artist of the Year, Best R&B Act, Best New Artist, and was also named Songwriter of the Year.
Adjudicator Emma said: “RAYE’s BRIT Awards success is an extraordinary moment in British music history. To hold both the record for the most BRIT Award nominations and the most BRIT Awards won in a single year is a remarkable achievement.
