Bridgestone, a global leader in premium tyres and sustainable mobility solutions, has announced its first-ever agro-industrial tyre with the launch of the new Bridgestone VH-IND tyre, engineered for exceptional traction on all surfaces with extra load carrying capacity.

As European farms scale up in size, their operational complexity is also growing. To support farmers and contractors in getting the most out of their equipment, maximising uptime and cost efficiency, Bridgestone has developed the VH-IND to deliver outstanding performance and productivity in mixed field and hard-surface operations.

The latest addition to Bridgestone’s premium tyre portfolio delivers exceptional traction across all surfaces for enhanced control. With a new pattern design providing 12 per cent more pulling force and a 4 point less slip percentage than its main competitor, the Michelin BIBLOAD, the Bridgestone VH-IND offers optimal grip on the field and road.1 This combines with superior stability under demanding conditions – an 8 per cent quicker stabilisation than Michelin BIBLOAD1 – enabled by optimal balance between the VH-IND’s reinforced carcass and vertical stiffness.

The Bridgestone VH-IND also increases productivity through a market-leading load capacity – additional body ply delivering a higher load index, up to 500 kg more capacity than Michelin BIBLOAD.1 The tyre additionally provides extended wear life to help farms optimise total cost of ownership. This is enabled by an innovative 35.4mm-deep tread – with up to 20 per cent more rubber volume than Michelin BIBLOAD to support longer tyre use1 – and optimised pressure distribution.

The tyre’s market-leading load capacity, stability and wear life are also supported by the application of Bridgestone’s ENLITEN Technology. ENLITEN is a next-generation technology, revolutionising how Bridgestone engineers tyres. Driven by a deep understanding of customer needs, ENLITEN delivers customised and uncompromised tyre performance while enhancing sustainability.

The Bridgestone VH-IND is available across Europe from September 2025. The tyre will initially launch in size 460/70R24, the main size in this segment.

“Bridging field and hard surfaces, the new Bridgestone VH-IND addresses the growing demand for versatile, high-performance solutions for telehandlers and backhoe loaders,” said Andrea Marconcini, Director Agriculture at Bridgestone EMEA. “As farms scale up and operational complexity increases, the Bridgestone VH-IND offers the perfect balance between field and hard surface traction and durability – supporting productivity across diverse applications. We’re thrilled to finally introduce it to the market as Bridgestone’s first agro-industrial product.”
