The Love Island villa will descend into chaos tonight as the fallout from cocktail night becomes clear.

Last night (June 7), the boys were offered the opportunity to meet two new bombshells for drinks outside of the villa. They voted in favour of slipping out to greet the new arrivals, with only Samraj and Sean expressing some hesitation about standing up their current partners on what was supposed to be a group cocktail night.

Unbeknownst to the boys, the girls received a text to let them know what the boys were up to. A giant screen was then brought into the villa, allowing them a front row seat to observe how their partners acted when they thought they weren’t being watched.

Bombshells Namibia and Victoria had selected a number of the boys to take on one-on-one dates which will be shown during tonight’s episode, with Ope’s date with Victoria in particular set to ruffle feathers.

After sitting down with the bombshell, Ope kisses her hand before admitting his current coupling with Angelista is going very slowly. Victoria then asks him: “So you still haven’t had your first kiss?” to which Ope responds, “No, are you going to be my first kiss?”

His bold approach leaves the girls back at the villa stunned, with Yasmin saying: “I did not expect him to act like this,” as Angelista – already reeling from his admission that he had a “wandering eye” – watches on.

Upon their return to the villa, the boys quickly learn they had been watched after noticing the big screen. Ope attempts to pull Angelista for a chat but she shuts down his advances.

The interaction between Ope and Angelista isn’t the only frosty one to unfold tonight, as Jasmine is also left angered by what she has seen. She tells one Islander: “A bunch of you acted like boys, and a bunch of you acted like men.”

Aidan, who claimed to have been in a “sandwich” with Ellie and Yasmin is also pulled up on his remarks. Ellie tells him: “This is to clear stuff up for Yas,” adding: “I feel like you’re saying one thing to me and one thing to her, and it’s not fair.”

Aidan accuses Ellie of stirring the pot, telling her: “I think it’s pretty clear what’s going on,” as Ellie hits back: “Why are you coming vexed at me? Because I’ll just come back to you with the same energy.”

Love Island airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
