Impromptu photoshoots are the best, aren’t they? In a world of curated social media feeds and polished TikToks, sometimes, sitting down and taking silly pictures with your kids in a more candid and casual way is the most fun. Kaley Cuoco and fiancé Tom Pelphrey did just that — and, of course, their adorable daughter Matilda “Tildy,” 2, stole the show.
The Big Bang Theory alum shared several selfies of her little family of three on Instagram on Wednesday. In the silly pictures, Cuoco and Pelphrey sit next to each other with Tildy in between them. The parents are laughing with their mouths open wide, and Tildy takes it one step further by sticking out her tongue at the camera. She’s cute and she knows it!

In the next snap, all three stick their tongues out, clearly inspired by their daughter. In this one, Cuoco puts her hand under Tildy’s chin, and it looks like the little girl is trying to reach her mom’s hand to lick it (any parent of a toddler is not surprised!). They make silly faces in other two snaps, clearly just having fun with their daughter. It’s such a sweet, intimate family moment, and it melts our hearts!
“♥️Almost forgot this is the whole point ♥️,” Cuoco captioned the photos. Life is busy, and taking those moments just to bond with your family are truly the best.
Pelphrey commented, “😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍.”
“You can just tell how much they love their baby girl.💝” someone else wrote. Another said, “That baby is AHHH DOOR RAH BEL!❤️ beautiful fam.”
Last month, the Based on a True Story star shared another photo dump, including a cute picture of Tildy eating cereal in a Little Mermaid nightgown, working out with her dad, and hanging out with her dog in matching wild hairstyles.
“💫 Life lately💫 ‘Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.’ 🦋Robert Brault,” Cuoco captioned the sweet photos. Once again, coming at us with the pure adorableness and the inspiration! Moms need that reminder sometimes to stop and appreciate moments with our kids (especially when they are in the middle of huge tantrums or exhausting sleep regressions).
Cuoco isn’t the only one inspired by family, though. The Task star shared his own post, including the silly Tilly tongue photo, on Instagram in honor of his sobriety. “12 years sober today. Sober by the grace of God. Deeply grateful for my sobriety and the life I get to live because of it,” he captioned the lengthy post, encouraging others to “ask for help” and praising those who’ve taught him “the healing power of acceptance, forgiveness, and being of service.”
In the comments, Cuoco wrote, “❤️❤️always in awe of you..I love you and this beautiful life we are creating!♥️♥️”
This family is making us emotional today! What a good reminder to show gratitude, appreciate small moments, and draw on the strength of your family. There is truly nothing better.
