The USA Women’s Under 20’s have travelled to South Africa for a 2-Test tour against the South Africa Women’s Under 20’s.
Coming off an intensive training camp at Mount St Mary’s University in Maryland, where the team convened ahead of travelling abroad, the players have tested player systems and combinations. Camp culminated with an intrasquad scrimmage on Friday to give coaches further insight under match like conditions.
Settling into the South Africa’s High performance Sports center, SAS in Stellenbosch, where the team will take residency for the next 2 weeks as they prepare for their first match this Friday, July 17th at the Markotter Sports Field.
The team will then be exposed to the 1-week match turnaround where they will be exposed to balancing recovery, training and implementing learnings, before taking on the U20 Springbok Women again the following week, on Friday, July 24th.
Both matches will be streamed live on South Africa Rugby Union’s YouTube channel.
