Jane Fonda once again proved that style has no age limit as she graced the runway at Paris Fashion Week.

The Oscar-winning actress, 87, took part in the L’Oréal Paris Spring/Summer 2026 show, held at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris on Monday, September 29.

Fonda commanded attention in a figure-hugging, shimmering long-sleeved dress, immediately drawing cheers from the crowd. She accompanied her look with some shiny silver heels and bold earrings, opting for old Hollywood glam style hair and makeup. She was joined by other notable figures on the runway, including Kendall Jenner, Heidi Klum, and even Helen Mirren.

This year’s appearance marked yet another bold fashion week appearance for the Hollywood legend. Last year, she attended the event in another eye-catching outfit, pairing a sparkling, rhinestone-encrusted belted silver trench coat with matching silver-and-white sneakers and a bold red lip. The show is known for celebrating women’s empowerment and diversity, and Fonda’s presence underscored that message.

Fonda has also been candid about what life looks like off the runway. In a recent conversation with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, she spoke openly about the challenges of finding acting roles at her age. “I’m almost 88,” she said proudly, before admitting, “I’m scared to death — shouldn’t say this I know — but I made three movies in one year and then I haven’t worked since then and I want to work and I need to work. I miss, I miss, I miss the craft. It’s a noble profession that we’re in — getting into the skin of another human being.”

As she stepped out in her glittering gown in Paris, Fonda reminded the audience that her influence stretches far beyond film. Whether dressed in sneakers or sequins, the Grace and Frankie actress embodies resilience, self-expression, and authenticity — qualities that have made her an icon across generations.

Fonda gained fame in the 1960s with breakout roles like Barefoot in the Park before earning Oscars for Klute and Coming Home, later building a career that has spanned everything from political dramas like The China Syndrome to comedies like 9 to 5 and Netflix’s Grace and Frankie.
