The ECOLIFE e12 also includes a range of driver assistance and safety technologies, such as:
Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS)
Forward Vehicle Collision Warning System (FVCWS)
Lane Departure Warning System
Pedestrian and cyclist detection (MOIS)
Blind spot detection
Driver drowsiness and distraction warnings
Alcohol interlock facilitation
Intelligent Speed Assistance
Cybersecurity protection
Fire detection and suppression system (FDSS)
360-degree camera system
Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with telematics and Intelligent Transport System functions that comply with EU standards, giving operators continuous access to vehicle performance data.
To strengthen its presence in Europe, JBM EV has set up its European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. This office will manage sales, aftersales, operations, and partnerships across the EU market.
The company stated that it has deployed or is in the process of deploying around 11,000 electric buses globally. Its manufacturing facility in India, described as the world’s largest dedicated electric bus production site outside China, has an annual capacity of 20,000 units. JBM EV reports that its buses have collectively covered over 200 million electric kilometres, carrying more than one billion passengers and avoiding over one billion kilograms of CO₂ emissions to date.
In addition to the ECOLIFE e12, JBM also presented its latest lithium-ion battery solutions and the JBM E-Verse, an electric mobility ecosystem developed in-house. The E-Verse platform integrates charging infrastructure, energy management, and operational support, aiming to provide end-to-end solutions for public transport operators.
