Local sources in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip reported severe clashes in the al-Majaida neighborhood. According to the sources, Hamas’s “Sahm” unit attacked the homes of the al-Majaida family using heavy weapons, machine gun fire, RPG rockets and explosive devices. According to sources on the ground, during the attack a small number of family members were killed – mostly elderly – while Hamas suffered a much higher number of casualties, estimated at least 22 operatives.
