Prince Harry may be eager to rebuild trust with the royal family, but it appears that Meghan Markle has had enough.
According to a source, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, is “in no mood to keep groveling” after being “treated so badly” during the couple’s recent trip to England.
First, Harry’s request for taxpayer-funded police protection for his family was denied by U.K. authorities, forcing him to make the trip to London alone. Then, per People, Buckingham Palace withdrew its offer to provide the Duke of Sussex, 41, with a room during his stay in the capital.
“It’s true the trip was disappointing on a lot of levels and he completely understands Meghan’s frustrations,” the source admits. “But he still feels the best course of action is to put it behind them and focus on the positives.”
Meghan, however, is “finding that very hard to do after they were treated like a pair of outsiders and completely micromanaged,” notes the source. “Not being allowed to take photos or post anything about the visit was especially insulting.”

Now back home in the U.S., Meghan is “relieved to have the trip behind her and just wants to focus on everything she’s got going on with her brand,” reveals the source. “But Harry can’t see how they’ll move things forward if she stays this sour about the whole experience.”
Instead, “he wants her to send family photos, gift baskets and keep the dialogue going the way she was before the visit,” the source says. “But she’s just not feeling motivated, which is pretty frustrating for him, to say the least.”
