Celebrity chef and TV personality Guy Fieri is famous for celebrating not only America’s best Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but also the people closest to him. On Tuesday, September 30, the Food Network superstar took to Instagram to recognize a milestone for someone behind the scenes who helps keep his empire running smoothly — complete with an adorable nickname she has earned from Fieri.
Fieri posted a photo with his executive administrator, Natalie Charter, as she held a bouquet of flowers he’d given her. He captioned the post:
“Congratulations to the best executive admin a Guy could have! 5 year anniversary with Knuckle Sandwich. THANK YOU, NATALIE!!!”

The heartfelt gesture quickly drew attention from his culinary colleagues and family, who flooded the comments with praise for Charter. Chef Stephanie Izard cheered, “Congrats Natalie!! 🔥❤️.” Chef Jet Tila called her “the best!!!!” Food Network Star winner Aarti Sequeira added, “Love you, Natalie!!!!!” Chef Bobby Marcotte echoed the sentiment, writing, “She’s the best! 🔥👏.”
Fieri’s nephew Jules, whom the chef helped raise after his sister Morgan’s passing in 2011, joined in with, “The best!” while Chef Joe Sasto rounded out the love with a line of clapping emojis. The response underscores how beloved Charter is not only to Fieri but also across the wider Food Network family.
Fieri’s Ongoing Dedication to His Team
Moments like this highlight how much Fieri values the people around him. He’s long been outspoken about taking care of his staff and colleagues, often crediting their hard work for helping him balance multiple hit shows, restaurants and charitable efforts.

In a 2011 interview with Heavy Table, Fieri had this to say of his crew:
The crew is vital. To me, nothing is as important as… if I don’t have the crew there, then it doesn’t work. It’s tough for me when we bring in substitute people in there. It makes me uncomfortable. I’m not saying uncomfortable like it won’t work, but these are my friends. In a lot of ways I’m doing this to entertain them. Everybody carries their role and, for me, to have a crew there that I know…. otherwise it’s shoot — stop — okay, shoot again. There’s no way you can keep that kind of energy going. There’s no way that it can evolve if you don’t have inspiration to do it.
That sense of loyalty was also on display just days earlier, when Fieri posted a touching tribute to his late friend Carl “The Cuban” Ruiz on the anniversary of Ruiz’s passing. Fieri remembered his fellow chef for his humor, warmth and passion for food — a reminder of how deeply personal his relationships with his colleagues are, both on and off screen.
By celebrating Charter’s five-year milestone with “Knuckle Sandwich,” Fieri once again showed fans that behind the celebrity chef persona is someone deeply committed to his team.
