Nicole Kidman is stepping out with a new look for Paris Fashion Week.
The Baby Girl actress, 58, debuted her “breakup bangs” at the CHANEL SS26 Fashion Show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday, Oct. 6, days after she and Keith Urban split after 19 years of marriage at the end of September.
Kidman formally filed for divorce on Sept. 30.
Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel and creative director of Virtue Labs made sure the Academy Award winner, who was named the newest ambassador of Chanel, looked hotter than ever as she attended the swanky A-list event.
“What a night @chanelofficial New bang era,” Abergel captioned an Instagram Reel of Kidman shared to his account on Monday.
Abergel’s video showed a photo of the Perfect Couple actress working the room as she posed for the paparazzi, acknowledged other guests and shot the camera an occasional flirty glance. Kidman’s blonde hair was styled using all Virtue products, powered by Alpha Keratin 60ku.

“We pulled references from the early 1970s — think soft texture, lived-in movement, and that iconic French-girl nonchalance,” Abergel said of how he created the look in a statement to PEOPLE.
More specifically, Abergel used the following three products to achieve the style: Virtue Unfrizz Cream to smooth and define without weighing Kidman’s hair down, Virtue Healing Oil for added shine, and finally, Virtue Damage Reverse Serum, a daily leave-in treatment.
The serum, which uses the proprietary protein to heal split ends, earned a spot on TIME’s Best Inventions list in 2024.
Abergel added, “For the premiere of Mathiew’s collection for Chanel, we gave Nicole a fresh cut and leaned into an effortless, early ’70s French vibe.”
According to Aubergel, to recreate Kidman’s look at home, let the hair air-dry after applying the Damage Reverse Serum and Unfrizz Cream to help maintain its natural shape and movement.
Once mostly dry, scrunch the hair using your hands as a diffuser to enhance texture and volume, the stylist shared. Finish up with the Healing Oil as the last step, applying it through the ends to add separation, shine, and a polished-yet-undone result.

The Big Little Lies star attended the Chanel show with the two daughters she shares with 57-year-old Urban: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman’s niece, Lucia Hawley, also joined the trio.
