Will Prabhas and Triptii Dimri’s Spirit get delayed amid the actor’s busy schedule? Prabhas’ Spirit and Salman Khan’s SVC 63 are all set to clash on Eid 2027. However, recent reports revealed that Spirit may be delayed due to Prabhas’ schedule. Now, we finally have a confirmed report from the makers.
Prabhas and Tripti Dimri’s Spirit not delayed, T-Series confirms
Yesterday, a report by Bollywood Hungama revealed that Spirit is being delayed to Jun 2027. “Around 75 days of shooting still remain, and with Prabhas’ dates scattered over multiple films, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will find it tough to finish the film on time. The internal discussions at T-Series have begun about identifying a new release date. One of the dates identified by T-Series head honcho is the post-IPL window in June 2027,” revealed a source to Bollywood Hungama.
The source further added, “Of course, at the moment, most will deny the development, but the matter of fact rests in the fact that the film is running behind its schedule. The announcement of delay might come now, or months later, but the chatter has already begun.”
However, an official from T-Series has confirmed to Times Now that the delay news is false and the movie is on track.
Confirming that Spirit will not be delayed, a T-Series spokesperson said, “We are very much on track with the release of Spirit. The film is slated to release on March 5, 2027, and there is absolutely no change to the announced release date. We are working as per schedule and are gearing up to bring the film to audiences worldwide on March 5, 2027.”

Spirit has been in the news ever since Deepika Padukone walked out of the movie. The actress had reportedly walked out of Spirit due to disagreements over remuneration and reported “unprofessional” behaviour. The reported “demands” allegedly included eight-hour work shifts, a substantial pay package, and a share in the film’s profits, along with a refusal to deliver dialogues in Telugu and a request for them to be dubbed instead.
She was replaced by Triptii Dimri. Apart from Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, the film also stars Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana. Spirit will releases in theatres on March 5, 2027.
