Seven Palestinians, including two children, were injured by Israeli army fire in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, in the latest daily violations of a ceasefire agreement in force since last October.
Two Palestinians were injured when Israeli naval forces fired at tents sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Khalidi area in northwestern Gaza, medical sources told Anadolu.
A Palestinian child also sustained moderate injuries after Israeli forces fired at displacement camps in the Al-Sudaniya area of northwestern Gaza, the sources said.
In Gaza City, local sources and eyewitnesses said Israeli quadcopter drones dropped explosives on Palestinian homes near Mushtaha Street and the Shujaiya market east of the city. No casualties were reported.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its teams transported three injured people following an Israeli airstrike on an evacuated building in the Tuffah neighborhood of eastern Gaza City.
A child was also admitted with minor shrapnel wounds from the same strike, a medical source at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital said.
An Israeli warplane carried out an intense strike on a building adjacent to the “yellow line,” near the Al-Sanafour junction on Salah al-Din Street, eyewitnesses and local sources told Anadolu.
The airstrike was followed by Israeli artillery shelling that hit the surrounding area, according to the sources.
In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery fired several shells toward areas northwest of Rafah, while military vehicles fired heavily on areas south of Khan Younis, according to local sources.
Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the Khan Younis coastline, eyewitnesses said.
The “yellow line” marks the Israeli army’s deployment inside Gaza under the ceasefire agreement, but Israel later expanded its area of control to an estimated 70% of the enclave.
Israeli violations of the ceasefire, in effect since October 2025, have killed 1,344 Palestinians and injured 4,464 others as of Saturday, according to the latest figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Since October 2023, Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza has killed at least 73,651 Palestinians and injured 174,575 others, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
