Within the three-part exhibition at the ADI Design Museum, these drawings, the result of a practice devoted to a constant attentiveness to our surroundings, are presented alongside a series of recent large-scale works. On one side is Milan, observed in its contemporary form; on the other, Tokyo, with its intense urban density. Two metropolises that differ radically in scale, history and structure, yet approached through the same practice: searching for whatever can interrupt the flow of our gaze, and subsequently transforming it into an image.
