Heidi Klum shared family photos and videos celebrating Lou’s milestone birthday with siblings Henry, Johan and Leni
Lou recently joined her mom at Paris Fashion Week
Klum has said Lou is the only one of her four children who shares her love of Halloween
Heidi Klum‘s youngest is officially 17!
On Friday, Oct. 9, the supermodel and Project Runway host, 53, shared a carousel of throwback photos and videos to Instagram to celebrate daughter Lou Samuel turning 17. Klum shares Lou, as well as her three other children, with her ex Seal.
Klum kicked off her post with a photo of her lying next to baby Lou, before sharing a video of her son Henry greeting his newborn baby sister. She also shared several family snaps featuring all four of her kids, including one featuring them dressed up for Halloween, the model’s favorite holiday.
Her carousel concluded with a young Lou channeling her mom as she strutted down an imaginary runway while wearing a glittery dress. Lou kept her best model face on as her mom and others cheered in the background.
“Happy 17 th birthday my darling Lou 🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🥳🥳🥳 I love you so very much and I am so proud of you and everything you do ♥️,” Klum captioned her post. “Where has all the time gone ?🎂🎁🎈🥳♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌸💐🌼”
Klum also shared a peak at Lou’s birthday celebration on her Instagram Story. The mom of four posted a photo of a pile of presents, a framed photo of her daughter, and pink-frosted cupcakes. In another slide, she shared a snap of over a dozen heart-shaped red and pink balloons.
In addition to Lou, Klum is also mom to daughter Leni, 22, and sons Henry, 21, and Johan, 19. Seal officially adopted Leni in 2009.

Klum previously revealed that Lou is the only one of her children who loves Halloween as much as she does. The Germany’s Next Top Model host is known for her annual Halloween bash and spends months planning and executing her costume each year.
In 2021 she told PEOPLE that Lou loves the holiday just like her mom. “I was hoping that I would pass this on even to my kids, but out of four, there’s only one that really is going for it and that’s Lou,” Klum said.
On Oct. 3, Klum and Leni stepped out together during their mother-daughter trip to the City of Lights for Paris Fashion Week. The pair were spotted in the front row of the Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2027 show.
In an interview with British Vogue, Klum called their trip a “little early birthday present” for her youngest daughter.
“Vivienne Westwood and Andreas [Kronthaler] are very close to my heart,” Klum told the outlet. “I had the chance to walk in his show last year – and I thought it would be the perfect first fashion moment in Paris during Fashion Week for my beautiful Lou.”

Lou shared that she loved the show, telling British Vogue, “I feel like I’ve always been in the spotlight in some way — actually, ever since I was born. It’s just part of life for me and my siblings. But I feel like now that I’m actually going to a real fashion event and experiencing high fashion firsthand, I can somehow express myself more and officially show who I am, instead of just walking around and being photographed. That really means a lot to me.”
