Artist Jasmine Dowling’s work is a true antidote to the rise of AI in creative spaces. Her thoughtful paper folds and clever collages have created immersive worlds for beauty and fashion brands alike, all with a dedication to the handmade and hand-cut (no matter how time consuming the animation process is!). Whilst her clever motion campaigns have left us in awe, we were keen to find out more about how she’s developed such a keen eye for light, colour, form and other mixed media tricks.

The creative gives us a glimpse behind the curtain on some of her creative inputs – where she gets all her inspiration her collaborations with product and lifestyle brands and in-camera tricks – from the pages of Tools Magazine’s to Jim Henson’s puppets. Oh, and if you’re Brisbane-based there’s a great food spot coming right up!
