Launched in 2021 by the Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes foundation, the programme aims to raise awareness of cardiovascular diseases, which cause one death among women every seven minutes in France.
Since its creation, the initiative has provided free screenings to more than 22,000 women nationwide.
Free screenings and health advice
The screening programme lasts approximately two hours and includes ten stages, with doctors, cardiologists, gynaecologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals available to offer advice and referrals where necessary.
A health and wellbeing village will also be open to everyone, offering information on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
New this year, a dedicated Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Centre will help visitors learn how to measure and monitor their blood pressure.
