GOT7 member BamBam has left his entire fandom in a frenzy with his freshly brewed first Thai album titled HOMETOWN along with the music video of its title track, WONDERING. Minutes after its release on October 10, internet started buzzing with clips, especially the K-pop idol’s multiple kissing shots which were passionate and intense, as deemed by gushing fans.

BamBam’s kissing scenes are going viral

BamBam held an EP launch event and watch party called ‘Homecoming Party’ to host fans and friends for WONDERING screening. While the song’s video received a thumping response, his kissing scenes in particular left the audience giggling, as BamBam himself, who was also present there, got all shy about it.

Fans cannot hold their excitement

As clips kept floating, fans commented on social media. A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “bambam deciding to play his music video in front of all his friends, now everyone shy.” Another one said, “bambam you are so sick and evil.” The actual clips from the launch event had audience shouting and screeming.

About HOMETOWN’s vibe

The Thai rapper-singer has taken fans home. He officially unveiled his long-awaited Thai debut album, alongside its lead single WONDERING. Touted to be a love letter to his roots, BamBam has offered a deeper glimpse into his heritage and musical journey through HOMETOWN. Its 5 tracks form a genre-fluid collection, blending pop with R&B. These are Dancing by Myself (feat. TIMETHAI), More Than Friend (feat. Jeff Satur), WONDERING, Greenlight (feat. INK WARUNTORN), and Angel In Disguise (produced by Pharrell Williams).

About his EP and WONDERING

Speaking about HOMETOWN and WONDERING, BamBam, whose real name is Kunpimook Bhuwakul, told Billboard, “HOMETOWN comes after my first solo world tour anyway, so it really feels like the beginning of a new chapter. I realized there was no need to go for something overly conceptual this time. I just wanted people to see ‘the real BamBam’. That’s why in the “WONDERING” music video, we went for scenes that feel like they could’ve been shot at an actual Thai night market.”
