Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s divorce has everyone reeling, speculating, and theorizing. While Urban is at the center of “other woman” theories with his past tourmates, everyone is wondering what Kidman will do next to move on. In fact, experts even theorize her next romance will be a total 180 from her past relationships, and it’s somewhat inspired by her A-list pals.
Licensed sexologist and relationship therapist, Sofie Roos predicted to DailyMail that Kidman will probably find love with someone outside of Hollywood, much like her pals Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston.

“Since Nicole is a person with much charisma and integrity, she needs someone who’s secure in themselves and is low-key,” Roos said, saying Kidman should “look outside the industry, or at least away from the red carpet. I think she would benefit from having a relationship out from the spotlight, which would give a greater chance of building something in private and at her own pace. Maybe someone behind the camera?”
Many A-list icons have been dating outside the Hollywood sphere, with Kidman’s pals Witherspoon dating financier Olivier Haarmann and Aniston dating wellness guru Jim Curtis. Could Kidman be joining them down the line?
For those who don’t know, Kidman and Urban met back in Jan 2005 during the G’Day USA gala. They didn’t date til months later, and then they got engaged one year later. They married a month later in 2006, and welcomed two daughters together named Sunday, born in July 2008, and Faith, born in Dec 2010.
On Sept 29, an inside source told Page Six about the split, saying it was Urban’s decision: “Sometimes relationships just run their course. [Kidman] did not want the separation and was trying to save things.” The Daily Mail also reported about it as well, with a source adding, “The intimacy isn’t there, they are just going through the motions [of being married]….. She was blindsided, but we shall see how things go during the holiday season and his upcoming birthday [next month]. They have some work to do.”
Then, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on Sept 30, 2025.
