Gripping new Korean original series “Tempest” is set to make its debut on American screens this week, as espionage, political drama and nonstop action come together to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
Starring Gianna Jun, Gang Dongwon and John Cho, the new three-episode series follows Seo Munju, a skilled former diplomat, as she tries to uncover the truth behind an attempt on a presidential candidate’s life.
“After discovering the candidate was accused of being a North Korean spy, Munju digs into his past, unlocking a Pandora’s box of deception, state secrets and more,” according to Hulu’s description.

When does ‘Tempest’ premiere?
According to Hulu, Season 1 of “Tempest” is set to premiere on Hulu and Disney+ on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 12:01 a.m. ET.
The least-expensive plan (which requires watching commercials) is $9.99 per month (or $99.99/year), and it provides access to Hulu’s ad-supported streaming library. Students can get that plan for $1.99 per month, if eligible. You can get a free trial of Hulu, but you do need to sign up and submit payment details.
