US Vice President JD Vance said on Tuesday that the ceasefire in Gaza was holding despite separate Israeli strikes in Gaza City and Khan Yunis that killed at least two and five people, respectively.<\/p>\n

That doesn’t mean that there aren’t going to be little skirmishes here and there,” Vance told reporters.<\/p>\n Vance said Hamas or \u201csomebody else\u201d attacked an Israeli soldier, due to which Tel Aviv was responding.<\/p>\n “We know that Hamas or somebody else within Gaza attacked an (Israeli military) soldier.
