In his first episode back from break, Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> told viewers he has returned to America just as confused about the current state of the country as those he met during his vacation overseas.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn case you\u2019re wondering what other countries think about what\u2019s going on here in our country, I\u2019ll tell you, they\u2019re worried about us,\u201d Kimmel announced, after briefly recapping his family\u2019s trip to Ireland. \u201cThey\u2019re worried about us in the same way you worry about a nephew who maybe you haven\u2019t seen for a few years who shows up at Thanksgiving missing all his front teeth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey had a lot of questions I couldn\u2019t answer, like, \u2018Why is he knocking down the White House?’\u201d Kimmel explained, referencing President Trump\u2019s recent demolition of the White House\u2019s East Wing<\/a> to make room for his new ballroom<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t know. Nobody knows. I don\u2019t think he even knows.\u201d The \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d host revealed that his family just so happened to visit Ireland the week of its presidential election.<\/p>\n

After Catherine Connolly beat Heather Humphreys in the election, Kimmel noted that Humphreys wished her opponent \u201cthe very, very best\u201d as president. \u201cNo caps, no whining about the election being rigged,\u201d Kimmel observed, before joking, \u201cMakes you wonder what\u2019s wrong with these people.\u201d He then teed up footage of \u201cunrest\u201d in Portland, only to reveal that the clips were actually of the White House\u2019s Trump-sanctioned partial destruction.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, that\u2019s what Trump did on purpose without permission to the White House,\u201d Kimmel realized. \u201cI told you we should have made him put down a security deposit.\u201d You can watch Monday\u2019s full \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d monologue yourself in the video below.<\/p>\n

Kimmel noted that Trump has spent an awful lot of time since he took office again in January redecorating and redesigning parts of the White House and its grounds. \u201cTrump is behaving less like a president and more like a Property Brother,\u201d the \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d host remarked. \u201cIs it possible that he\u2019s planning to sell the White House? He\u2019s going to fix it up and flip it on us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, Kimmel rolled a clip of Trump telling reporters that Texas congresswoman Jasmine Crockett and New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would never be able to pass the cognitive test he reportedly took during a recent, presidential health exam. \u201cThere\u2019s only one way to find out,\u201d Kimmel said in response. \u201cLet\u2019s do it on TV. Let\u2019s put together the biggest and greatest IQ test of all time. Donald Trump versus Jasmine Crockett. Crockett versus Tubs and AOC.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s make this happen,\u201d Kimmel offered. \u201cI\u2019m willing to do whatever. I\u2019ll host it. I\u2019ll produce the whole thing. I\u2019ll pay for it. \u2018Grandpa Don\u2019s Dementia Bowl,\u2019 folks. Maybe we could make it the undercard before that UFC fight they\u2019re having on the White House lawn. All proceeds go to fund the government.\u201d<\/p>\n
